Arlington County has been designated a "Bike Friendly Community." It has three of the best bike trails in the area: The Custis Trail, the W&OD, and the Mount Vernon Trail. Bike lanes are abundant and cyclists can be seen everywhere. With the transportation infrastructure critical failure that Washington DC is experiencing, Cycling has become an important part of the transportation equation.
Candidates for Arlington County Board, what is your position on cycling? What will you do to promote cycling in Arlington? Do you ride a bicycle? Do you ride a bicycle to work?
